The veterinarian won praise from netizens after the clips featuring the life-saving of the baby went viral online. If she had done nothing, she would have regretted it all her life, said the veterinarian. Media reports that the Myanmar worker earlier called a taxi to take her to a hospital, but the driver refused to take her. A Thai friend of the woman called an ambulance but the woman gave birth before it arrived.
